Privacy Policy

A Salute Italian Restaurant & Bar (“A Salute”, “we”, “us”) operates this website. This policy explains what information we collect when you use it, how we use that information, and the choices you have.

What we collect

We only collect what you choose to give us. Depending on which form you use, that may include:

• Your name, email address and telephone number.
• Event details you share with us — date, guest count, occasion, menu and bar preferences, and any notes.
• Messages you send through the contact form.
• Your email address and, if you provide it, your mobile number when you sign up for our newsletter.

We do not take payment through this website, so no card or bank details are ever collected or stored here. Payment for events and gift cards is taken by telephone or in the restaurant.

How we use it

• To reply to your inquiry and plan your event.
• To answer questions sent through the contact form.
• To send you offers, invitations and news, but only if you asked us to.

We do not sell, rent or trade your information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Reservations and third-party services

Some parts of this site hand you over to services we do not operate. Reservations go to OpenTable or Resy. Delivery orders go to DoorDash, Grubhub or Uber Eats. Job applications and catering requests are handled by our booking platform. Once you are on one of those services, their own privacy policies apply to what you do there.

Text messages

If you tick the box to receive text messages, you are agreeing to marketing and promotional messages from A Salute. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Reply HELP for information or STOP to opt out at any time. Consent to receive texts is never a condition of booking, dining or buying anything from us.

Email

Every newsletter we send carries an unsubscribe link. Use it and you will be removed. You can also write to us and we will take you off the list.

Cookies

This site uses only what is necessary to work properly and to remember small preferences, such as whether you have already seen the newsletter invitation. Embedded services such as maps, reservations and the application forms may set their own cookies. You can block or clear cookies in your browser at any time; the site will still work.

Keeping your information

We keep event inquiries for as long as we need them to plan and complete your event, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Ask us to delete your details and we will, unless we are required to keep them.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email or call us using the details below and we will deal with it.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date below. Material changes will be made clear on this page.
